The Shed 2.0

The BookShed is changing. With the world around us moving to Web 2.0, it's about time this site joined in. In the coming months, there will be changes to the front page and content of the site.

You'll find new features such as:

• Topic Hubs: Gathering all the stories, blogs and posts on keywords together.
• Comments: Readers can log in and comment or discuss articles and their implications.
• Resources: Easier to use with more feature-rich content.
• Industry Insider Tips and Articles: We're chasing down the latest know-how from agents, publishers and editors.
• Event calendars: Conferences, workshops and exhibitions.
• Opportunities: Job postings, calls for manuscripts, competitions.

Making this sort of change does take time and you may notice things being 'tried out' live on the site. If they look a bit shabby, ignore them. If they look good, let us know.

We're on the look-out for guest writers too, so if you have something to say about publishing, fiction, your way of working or anything that you think would help other published and unpublished writers or industry insiders, get in touch.
